The older children yell and play in the doors of the building, while outside the sounds of a soccer game echo from the community's only television set.
These children are quiet because they are hungry. Their ages range from a few months to two years old, but what connects them all is the wiry orange hair that sticks out of their dry scalps. And they are not alone, nearly 200,000 children suffer from severe malnutrition in Haiti adn according to the World Health Organisation (WHO) severe malnutrion kills up to one million chidren per year. One child every 30 seconds.
