Anthony Javier Pleiez (left) and Coistian Omar Scopa (right) in the lowest security section of Cojutepecque prison. Pleiez says his 18th street clique protects his community. "We are a united gang If we are going to do something we have to come to a conclusion with all the family, because here there is no leaders . Our gang depends on nobody, we are all here because we all care for each other. We identify with the barrio where we live. With the other gang (MS-13) , they have problems because the community does not like them. I don't like the other gangs because they are disturbing the community and robbing and all that shit. We are in charge to look after the people in our barrio."
